A Private Collection

Contemporary editions and multiples — kept for the love of the objects.

About

A house for the contemporary print.

Galerie Potterat is a private collection of contemporary art — prints, editions and multiples by Takashi Murakami, Damien Hirst, Shepard Fairey, El Mac, RETNA and Wes Lang, among others. The bias is simple: images worth a second look, made in numbers small enough to matter.

It leans to Pop and its descendants — conceptual, street, post-graffiti — and treats the multiple as a form in its own right. What began as a few framed sheets has expanded into a catalogue kept for the objects rather than the market, each work recorded with its provenance, its edition, and what it is worth today.

Each piece's QR encodes this + its id. Print the QR beside the art; scanning opens that piece once you host this site (e.g. on Vercel).
On the public site the financial values aren't included at all — they live only in your exported file, which you import on your own device. The passcode just gates the figures in this interface.
Financial figures are never built into the public site; they live only in a file on your device. Export to back up or move computers; import to restore.
Resetting clears this device’s saved copy and returns it to the public version (no values). Export a backup first — you can re-import it.
